To promote a better understanding of Islam and challenge misconceptions in the community – we offer schools an Introduction to Islam workshop aimed at
parents & carers, which includes an open Q&A session. It can be delivered face-to-face or virtually.
The Teaching & Learning about Islam inset is delivered as a Twilight session, or if you need more time, schools have booked half or full-day Islam CPD for their staff to cover more content. During the training session, we aim to develop subject knowledge of Muslim beliefs and practices. This includes the five pillars and the six articles of faith. But we often are asked to cover other areas, like Islamophobia and what it means to be a Muslim in Britain today. Training sessions can be delivered at school or virtually over Zoom. We also offer a CPD subscription for primary school RE teachers to develop their subject knowledge by choosing the courses and topics of their choice.
Our Islam workshops, designed to be both engaging and informative, are a practical solution to support RE at your school. Whether you prefer face-to-face or virtual delivery, we’ve got you covered.
